Look at what comes out when lately it seems like everything is holding me back.
I guess it is just that pesky little negative alter inside of me bringing me down and whittling away at my confidence again. This piece just proves that the real me is winning this one :)
My scanner is only 8.5 inches wide. This piece measures 10 x 20 inches I lost about 3/4 in. off each side. I will finish scanning and get a better merged image as soon as I get a chance.

At a flea market a couple weeks ago I found a gorgeous photo album full of stunning photos from the 1940's. What a lovely whimsical picture... I wonder who she is... she doesn't smile much for the camera, yet she can't help but inspire me...
What better time to come out and play... it is so beautiful outside. How wonderful to see the sky so blue and to hear the birds singing again... Maybe she needs a little bird in this painting?
I am trying to organize my time in preparation for the upcoming show season. I have found that I have to downsize my calendar due to working full time so I am trying to seize the best opportunities. One of course being Omaha Summer Arts Festival, and I made it into the Loring Park Festival in Minneapolis. There are a couple in the Kansas City area I would like to enter, but they are BIG shows and I need a better booth shot. I am going to set up my booth on my apartment complex lawn (with permission) and have a little artwork photo shoot...

The fear of being alone can really eat at one's heart. I sometimes feel with a life so full and busy, the people close to me drift away.
Is it too late for a New Year's Resolution? Mine is to stay close to everyone I love.
